Each operator of international tour packages will have their own policy on cancellation or refund, so ask for all the details. Ask how the money will be refunded and when as well.

What is the detailed itinerary for the tour, with addresses and contact numbers of hotels, restaurants etc?

Even though the tour operator will take care of everything, you would need to have a copy of where exactly you will be staying and whom to reach out to in case of any emergency.
