Québec Announces Results of Latest Arrima Draw

Québec has released details of an Arrima draw conducted on 16^th January 2020. 23 candidates under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program – who filed their Expressions of Interest (EOIs) before 17^th December 2019 – were invited to apply for permanent selection to the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration. Invited candidates fulfilled criteria pursuant to Section 29 of the Act to increase Québec’s socio-economic prosperity and adequately meet labour market needs through successful immigrant integration.

 

Aspirants who wish to permanently relocate to Québec under the Regular Skilled Worker Program must submit an online EOI in the Arrima portal. The Ministère assesses EOIs, and conducts invitation rounds or ‘draws’, inviting eligible candidates to submit an application under quebec immigration for permanent selection. The Ministère issues Québec Selection Certificates to those who can score 50/59 (with/without spouse) points based on the selection grid criteria. Québec-selected workers must apply for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
