Sexual dysfunction is a health issue that prevents a person from getting satisfaction from sexual intercourse. There are four basic types of sexual dysfunction:

  • Desire disorders or the lack of interest in sex
  • Arousal disorders, meaning the inability to become physically aroused
  • Orgasm disorders that imply the inability to experience orgasm
  • Pain disorders or pain experienced during sexual intercourse

The symptoms of sexual dysfunction can vary in men and women, but both males and females experiencing this condition usually suffer from the following problems:

  • Decreased interest in sex
  • Inability to become aroused
  • Pain during intercourse

Research shows that approximately 10-20% of all the cases of sexual dysfunction are caused by psychological factors. Sometimes, the psychological effects of sexual dysfunction may have roots in sexual trauma suffered in childhood. However, the most common psychological reasons for sexual dysfunction include:

  • Stress. The reasons of stress are numerous. Stress can be related to job, money, family, and other factors.
  • Anxiety. Once a person experiences any type of sexual dysfunction, he may become extremely worried that the problem will repeat. This anxiety can lead to a fear of sexual failure and consequently lead to sexual dysfunction.
  • Guilt. Being afraid of not satisfying your partner may cause a continual feeling of guilt that hinders your further sexual life.
  • Depression. Depression is among the most common causes of sexual dysfunction. It influences a person both physically and psychologically. Even if a person feels comfortable in sexual situations, continual depression can cause sexual dysfunction.
  • Low self-esteem. It can happen because of prior episodes of sexual dysfunction. Low self-esteem can also stem from other issues unrelated to sexual life.
  • Indifference. This condition may have various roots. It can be a result of taking certain medications, age or problems in the couple's relationship that lead to a subsequent loss of sexual desire.

All men and women may sometimes experience sexual dysfunction. The problem requires medical attention only if it becomes persistent or causes distress for you and your partner. If you need medication, our store is an excellent place to buy drugs no prescription.
