Although in Dalmatia, they are counting on big summer tourism earnings, the owners of luxury villas in the Dalmatian hinterland will cut their income during the winter. The result is a new trend of organizing various celebrations in luxurious holiday homes.
Owners of such luxury homes often rent them for a day, with a society of 10-15 people. Most often, the rental starts on Friday at noon, and the party lasts for 24 hours, until Saturday at noon. Houses are booked weekly in advance, and at a price of around three thousand kuna per rental, every month during winter, owners can earn ten thousand kuna if they are rented only on weekends.
"The price of the house was 3 thousand kuna and it could easily accommodate and sleep 15 as much as we were on the evening. The house has a swimming pool, a recreation area, a playground for billiards, billiards, a barbecue, is beautifully decorated and modern, and we were pleased"said one satisfied young bride who celebrated her maiden evening in a luxurious home in Broćancu.
And outside the holiday season, there are numerous celebrations, such as ‘girls and girls' evenings, iznajmljivanje vila, different team building and other festivities. The price of the house was 3 thousand kuna and it could easily accommodate and sleep 15 as much as we were at the evening. The house has a swimming pool, recreation area, playground for billiards, billiards, barbecue, nice and modernly decorated and we were pleased. And we barely found it because they were all already busy or reserved for similar celebrations much earlier. Now they are all making girls or cheerful nights in these beautiful houses in the hinterland around Sinj, Dugopolje, Imotski, where there are no tourists in winter, and the owners rent them for such festivities - says a bride who recently gathered in a Broćanica house at a girls' party at a wedding. The owner warns them of paying attention to the furniture and equipment of the house, otherwise they will have to pay for the damage, and on Saturday they went out and paid three thousand kuna. Some owners even require in advance some amount of "guarantee" for collecting possible damages.
