Priyanka Chopra Talks Summer Style, New Song and Pitbull In Exclusive Interview

From covering Vogue India to staring on the big screen and performing around the world, Priyanka Chopra is the latest exotic sensation to take the USA by storm. The Indian songstress is making headlines again having just released a single with international music sensation, Pitbull.

I caught up with Priyanka to chat all things fashion, music and Pitbull. Check out the interview below and watch her new music video!

What's your favorite summer trend?

It's got to be the return of the 60s inspired graphics! I love the big, bold stripes and checks; two-toned/color clocked black and whites...love love love!

Who do you think is the best-dressed celebrity out there? Why?

Victoria Beckham - no matter what the occasion, she gets it right every time! She's also a designer who's looks I love and wear often. Need I say more?!?!

Who's your go to designer? What do you love about them?

Dolce & Gabbana! Their exquisite designs always seem to fit perfectly. I swear, when I'm wearing Dolce, sometimes I have to ask if the outfit was custom made for me.

Tell us a bit about your upcoming single "Exotic" with Pitbull. What was it like working with him?

Exotic is my debut US single. The track was produced by the amazing RedOne and features Pitbull. I had such a blast creating this song! It's a true reflection and blend of our three Exotic cultures -Red is from Morocco, Pitbull is from Cuba and I'm from India, so needless to say Exotic is in our blood! Pitbull was so much fun to work with - he's so talented and he has such an amazing, infectious energy. It would be awesome to work with him again.

Can you give us an idea of some of the "Exotic" fashion that we'll see in the music video? What was your favorite piece?

It's a summer song and we shot the video in Miami...so obviously the fashion is nothing short of Exotic!! We kept the styling fun and cool, with bold pops of color (neon, pinks, etc.) in many of the looks. We also used a ton of amazing accessories (the crystal encrusted Beats headphones and custom pink peep-toe Christian Louboutin booties with gold studs were my two favorite pieces), plus super sexy hair and make-up to give each look that extra touch of exoticism. I hope people like it.
