Post Quarantining Shopping List For Shopaholics!

by Ankita Sehgal Freelance Blogger, Lives in New Delhi
The worst thing COVID-19 has put on humanity right now is snatching away all possible forms of socializing from them. Imagine those hangouts with friends. Those late-night movie shows and those might hangout with your friends—all in the past.
As far as retail therapy is concerned, women should forget about it for next three months at least. We know how relaxing it is but this is something you need to bear to keep yourself and others safe.

Though, we all are lockdown in our homes, there is nothing wrong in day-dreaming after all. You can imagine about strutting through your favorite shopping malls, sipping your favorite mocktail; once again with your friends.

Already thinking about the shopping list. Well, allow us to add certain things to your list once you come out of self-isolation.

Boots –Don’t miss out on getting ankle boots. Be it the skinny jeans, short skirts or formals, boots are good enough to amp up the look of any outfit. Uggs are useful for day-to-day use and can be worn with any outfit, knee-highs are a little more formal and would look great paired up with a skater skirt or short dress and lastly, ankle boots can be worn for a formal evening out.

Quirky Jackets – A short coat would be suitable for a day event. The best thing is that you can also pair it up with lehenga choli or any ethnic item—all you have to do is find the right color combination.  Opting for a neutral colour is always better as it tends to match with more outfits. Leather jackets colours like black, maroon and brown are also a great option. Just make sure you do all the shopping from only the best clothing brands in Delhi.

Scarves and mufflers– We know that it’s not the right time to have them but what’s wrong in getting winter staples in your closet at much cheaper rate? FYI, as per the current situation, it definitely looks like, we will be well past summers once this lockdown is finally over.

Malls are not just meant for shopping; they have become a huge entertainment hub as well. They have cinema halls, food courts, fitness centers, beauty parlors, gaming arcades – video games, bowling, etc. You can spend the entire day at the mall and still have so much left to do.

Till then, STAY HOME! STAY SAFE!
