Does positive thinking have any power or not? Those
who do not pay attention to their thoughts and what influence they have in
daily life, most probably do not believe that neither positive nor negative
thinking have any power. However, if only they started monitoring their
thoughts and watching what influence those thoughts have in their lives they
would be surprised to find out what enormous power thoughts and thinking
patterns have.
Positive thoughts are a basis for positive thinking.
In fact, thoughts are a basis for any kind of thinking. Now, thoughts that come
one second to our mind and leave another have no real power in our lives, but
those that stay longer and we entertain them gain control of our lives. If our
thoughts are negative, our lives take negative direction, if they are positive
we step down on a path to good things. Your thoughts are like magnets that
attract things according to the nature of your thoughts. Some people call it
the law of attraction. Call it whatever you want, it works. Of course, this
process becomes even more effective if we strengthen it by means of faith,
conscious or unconscious.
People neglect these truths and get into trouble.
They wonder why their lives are in a mess. There are no reasons to wonder, this
mess is just a consequence of a deep cause that is rooted in their negative
thinking patterns. God had set up this principle before the creation of the
worlds. This principle is very simple – our dominating thoughts give us
direction in life and attract into our lives the very things we think about. So,
look at your life and ponder a little bit why you live as you live and why
nothing changes in your life. It is because of your way of thinking. I do not
mean to tell you that everything that happens in your life is the result of
your thinking. By no means! There are a lot of things we cannot explain.
However, one thing we can be sure about is that directions of our lives are
determined by the way we think.
