Tokyo is not known as the health capital of the world. Physiotherapy and great gyms might not be what first crosses your mind. Perhaps when you think of muscly bodies and the best gyms, you think of Venice Beach, California. When you think of marathon champions, you think of Ethiopia. When you think of health, you think of Yoga retreats in India, and when you think of Tokyo, you think of shining lights and technology slathered with a layer of manga and martial arts next to the rapidly beating business heart of Roppongi, in a mix only possible in a country that has seen unprecedented cultural and societal changes in the past century. Roppongi, Tokyo, is therefore not the natural setting for a world class physiotherapy and personal training centre, that aims to set the industry standard within Asia, with what some call the best gym in Tokyo, but this is what Club 360 is aspiring to be, and although it is young, it is building year on year and working towards its goal.

 Club 360

Becoming a leader means having a vision of the future and striving towards it through uncompromising standards. Each of Club 360's physiotherapists has years of practice within their field, and each practitioner studies outside and inside of the gym, taking advantage of the Clubs in-services, where reviewing techniques, critiquing case studies, practicing new techniques and many things besides, are gone over as a group to further each practitioners knowledge base. We realise that one approach does not work for all, and that multiple approaches based on the nature of the condition, the sex of the individual, and even their hormonal balance must be taken into consideration to give effective treatment. It is through such practices that this Club in Roppongi, Tokyo, will set a standard for others to follow.

The same can be said of the personal training that is carried out at the Club. With a variety of practitioners ranging from power lifters to runners, judo fighters to dance instructors from a variety of countries and training backgrounds, we have the wonderful ability to discuss client training needs as a group, to come up with the best training method for the client concerned. Continual education through training in-services play the same role with trainers as they do with physiotherapists, with the Club going so far as to sponsor its trainers to go to educational programmes in the strength and conditioning field to further their knowledge. If you want to be the best gym in Tokyo, then you must keep up with current research and training methods. We do not mean having the heaviest weights or the loudest music, but the best conditions in which to set up clients on the road to success in Tokyo.

Club 360 differs from the majority of gyms in Japan. Gone are the weight machines used to make money for companies and to make exercise "easy", and gone are the short course abdominal circuits that promise you a six pack that will ripple more than flag in the wind on a typhoon-filled day. If you want to be the best gym in Tokyo, then give your clients what they need, and not what YouTube says they need. Whether that is nutritional advice which is followed up with a food diary and continual checks, or an extra home programme for clients to follow to ensure that they are progressing outside of the gym, this is what the Club does and continues to refine.
