PhD Research Guidance: The Conventional Way to Pursue a PhD Thesis

We have met many PhD scholars and found out some interesting facts about their research journey. When one get enrolled for the PhD in any organization then he or she thinks that they will increase the knowledge to do something innovative and will make a successful career. To pursue their goal they needed proper guidance, research environment and the most important thing of the world the sufficient time to complete research. But in most of the universities the condition is opposite of the required situation for research. Most the universities provide scholarship to PhD and for that maximum universities try to bind them with extra workload. One of the major parts of this work load is described below.
To teach during PhD: Many of them
find it is as opportunity to learn something new every day. Therefore it is
useful for them but the world always has two kinds of people. The other kind of
PhD researchers says that this is hard to find time for research while teaching
and because of lack of time; sometime the research quality not meets the
required standards.
Most of the universities bind their
PhD students to teach for more than 20 hours per week but there is much other
organization in which 7 hours per week teaching is required. There is another
problem is that those who are teaching during PhD, most of them trying to
survive until the completion of their PhD. Most of them are not well trained to
teach. These things indirectly affects one’s PhD research training and which
results in another poor research product.
We at Silicon Mentor are trying to
overcome this barrier and providing a research environment to DSP, VLSI, AI and
other technology specific PhD students with our best resources.
