Penguin Gets Updated

Just recently the Penguin Update got refreshed. According to an article in searchengineland.com, it was updated last May 26. The initial report was that it affected less than 0.1% of all the English searches in Google.

Regarding this update, there are still no tips from some SEO authority sites. It's really hard to speculate at this point. The only thing we can do right now is to again wait for its effects and also do some small scale experiments in our own sites.

Most of us in SEO are still on the process of adjusting and really knowing how Penguin affected the whole industry when it was released more than a month ago.

There are some lessons that we learned after Penguin was released. It all points to the fact that quality content should always be a priority. It's really a cliche. It's been there ever since.

After that long introduction, I will be writing about blogging as a way to promote your own ideas. Most people follow what the authorities say - the big names in SEO. But the fact still remains that there are lots of ways to do SEO.

Or let's say there are alternatives to the usual (excluding black hat techniques, of course). Recently, I tried to check on how to maximize the use of audio blogging in getting links and in SEO in general.

There are actually a few simple ways to do it. Other than the usual visuals and graphics that are produced by web designers , we can also try to use audio. And the best that you can do is to convert your articles into podcasts.

We all know that podcasts can reach a lot of followers (or listeners) because these allow them to listen to any podcast anywhere and anytime they want.

That's really one simple way of reaching more people and selling your brand well. Being part of an outsourcing company, I am still exploring on how to maximize these podcasts to make my work more effective.
