P Mohamed ali and the infrastructure sector of Oman.

The Infrastructure sector of Oman has developed considerably in last few decades. The Sultanate of Oman governed by his majesty Sultan Qaboos made a point of developing Oman is every sector as to become of the finest country to live- in in Middle east. Oman before 1970’s was nothing more than a barren land and desserts, with no much investments and people having no access to basic facilities like a hospital. Education etc. Later on, when the reign of Sultan Qaboos began the Oman experienced development.

At this point of time, somewhere between 1970 – 1972 P Mohamed Ali arrived in Oman. He wanted to be a businessman and he recognised that the infrastructure and construction sector is yet to explored channel. So he believed hid gut feeling and ventured into a small business of construction with just 5 labours called Galfar, but the seeds of hard work begin to show some fruits. A goodwill was created in Oman’s market for his work. As mentioned above this period saw Oman’s development, it was the perfect opportunity for P Mohamed Ali's Galfar to get more projects under their wings.

Soon P Mohamed Ali was counted in as the top business in Oman and also became of the richest Indians in entire GCC region. Today P Mohamed Ali is one of the prominent personality of Oman, winning honours and accolades worldwide. Making a fine example of how a Non-Resident can be successful in another country altogether in spite of facing all odds.
