the country. Corp. Lindley and Ajeper SA are the leading players which are
becoming very competitive for CBC as they are effectively managed with current
portfolio and also prepared for introduction of new products.
Large population of youngsters and middle-class income people
in Peru are getting stimulated by the modern grocery retailers. Because of
augmentation in the purchasing powers and disposable incomes of consumers, the
traditional grocery retailers are losing their share. In the capital of the country,
periphery of Lima and some provinces where income level is increasing,
expansion of retail in Peru is being witnessed.
