Nothing is Actually Free (Part 1)

Over two years ago, when i embarked on the pursuit of making money online, I was excited about every offer that claimed that it was possible for me to make money online without spending money. Phrases like the "income quickly adds up" excited me and i thought that i could make quick money.

I signed up to as many offers as i could and spent many sleep ness nights just to try out every offer. With time however, I soon realized that there was nothing like a free offer.

This is what i mean. Whenever someone gives you a free gift, it was in exchange for your e-mail address so that you can be bombarded with sale pitches. What you think is free is not actually free. In fact, you may end up buying offers from that one. I am not saying that this is bad. In fact, it is an ethical way to market online. All I am saying is nothing is actually free.

When you sign up to a traffic exchange that offers free traffic credits at the onset, you will later discover that to keep getting exposure for your offers, you may have to buy credits or spend time (not free) checking out other people's offers to earn more credits. Again you have started spending your time on what was initially offered as free. Again, not a bad marketing idea. But i am just showing that nothing is actually free.

I have come to learn that to succeed in internet marketing, one must be ready to spend either money or time or both. If one does not have time, he spends money, and where there is no money, he has to set aside some serious time to drive his offers, or if there is little time and money, he spends both.

Now, have you ever understood the statement that TIME IS MONEY? Whenever you are spending time doing something that's not yielding you any income, be quick to note that others are doing something else with their time that's yielding them income. But for how long would you have to wait to learn what others are doing? So as time is passes by without you knowing that trick, you are losing money that you should have earned. TIME IS MONEY!

So, when you are browsing for free credits to get exposure for your offer, be quick to realize that some others are earning a few dollars a day for doing the same thing on behalf of others (outsourcing) but you are not earning same because you are doing it by and for yourself. Nothing is actually free! Be ready to spend your time, or money or both to succeed online!
