Nissan Motor India Private Limited has announced about its advanced booking of its upcoming vehicle Nissan Terrano. The company has said, that the booking starts from early September and this flagship SUV will launched towards the month of October. This Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer has entered in the country's car market way back in the year 2005 and from then it is doing a very impressive business. The Nissan cars has already settled itself in the Indian automobile market but now the company is going to crack the SUV segment. The company has not made any announcement about the exact price but the Nissan Terrano price is going to be somewhere around Rs. 10 lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). The company has said that at the time of booking we have to submit Rs. 51,000.

The engine of this sports utility vehicle is loaded with a 1.5-litre diesel mill with the displacement of 1461cc. The engine is capable to churn out a very healthy power of 108bhp at 3900 rpm and at the same time a peak torque it delivers is 248Nm at 2250 rpm. The acceleration and pick-up is also going to be very good with its top speed of 165 kmph and it can reach up to the top speed of 100 kmph from the mark of 0 in only a few seconds. The engine is designed in that manner and it is capable to deliver a very healthy mileage. The fuel-economy of this SUV will be 19-21 kmpl. It is incorporated with a manual transmission and it is surely made for the Indian road conditions.
