NDA 2016 Result is likely to be declared soon
The NDA I exam was conducted on 17 April 2016 and the NDA Result 2016 will be declared tentatively two months after the exam. However, the UPSC will conduct the NDA II 2016 exam on 19 September 2016 and will declare the result again tentatively two months after the exam.

The NDA I and NDA II exam are conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to select the candidates in all the three wings of defence services, viz. Army, Naval Force, and Air Force. The UPSC conducted the NDA I 2016 on 17 April 2016 for all these three wings. The UPSC conducts NDA and NA exam twice in a year. The UPSC conducted NDA (I) for the recruitment of 320 vacancies, the number of vacancies to be filled in Army, Navy and Air Force is 208, 42 and 70 respectively.
Selection Process of NDA Result 2016:
The selection process of NDA Result 2016 starts with the written exam, which can be called the first round. Those who clear the written exam are called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview.
Criteria for Eligibility for NDA 2016:
In order to be eligible for NDA 2016, one must be a citizen of India and is qualified for 10+2 board exam. Besides, the candidates should be bachelor and male.
For NDA II, the candidate must be born in between 2 July 1998 and 1 January 2001.
Application Procedure for NDA 2016:
The UPSC will invite application form for NDA II 2016 from 6 July to 15 July. The application has to be filled in online by the aspirants with remittance of the application fee of Rs. 100 only.
Issuance of Admit Card:
The aspirants must get a valid admit NDA 2016 E-admit card, failing to do which they will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall.
The declaration of NDA Result 2016:
The Result is declared by the UPSC tentatively two months after the conduction of the exam. While declaring the Result of NDA 2016, the UPSC prepares a list of candidates, who scores minimum pass marks to clear the exam and shows it in the result. Those who clear the written test are called for the SSB Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test. The applicants for Air Force Academy have to go through PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) besides SSB interview.
