Myths About Forest Land Case Against Brijmohan Agrawal Wife: Facts You Should Know

Recently Brijmohan Agrawal family is in news for the purchase of the forest land. After Brijmohan wife was alleged of the using unfair means to purchase the forest land for his personal benefit to building a resort, Brijmohan said that nothing wrong done in purchasing the land. Soon after this news was surfaced, Chief Minister of the state also asked his chief secretary to look into the matter. The situation is not exactly the same as the political parties present it. They are using this case as an option to defame the party image and gain the confidence of the voters to win the upcoming election in the state. 

If we consider the political activities of Congress, we see that the party raise concerns in states that elections are nearby. Congress never hesitates to involve families of political leaders to gain political benefits. This has what happened in the Brijmohan Agrawal case where opposition involved the family of Brijmohan to gain the political benefit. Brijmohan said that he was unaware of the case that the land belonged to the forest department. He also assured that his wife in purchasing the land did nothing wrong. If we look into the issue, it’s a myth that is spread about the land. There are several facts that you should know in order to get to the real picture of the case. 

Brijmohan Agrawal wife cleared that she purchased 4.12 hectares of land to build a resort with her son Abhishek Agrawal. Abhishek and Sarita are directors of companies that are working on the resort project. Brijmohan said that he has done nothing wrong and has followed all the rules to purchase the land. The land was in the name of the farmer and was unaware that it belongs to the forest department. He added that if there is a problem, it is by the side of the farmer. He also mentioned this land in his affidavit in the election. 

Raman Singh said that he is in concern of the Brijmohan Agrawal corruption cases and has asked the chief secretary to provide him with the complete report. Brijmohan is ready for the investigation and said that if there is anything wrong, he will definitely return the land to the concerned department. Congress party also said that he has used his power to purchase the land as he is a minister of agriculture, water resources and religious departments. This allegation has embarrassed Brijmohan and the entire BJP party. With this, Chief Minister Raman Singh promised to clean the image of the party.  

Chhattisgarh has due assembly election next year and this looks a clear and well-planned conspiracy against the most popular leader of BJP party. BJP also has an eye to win the fourth consecutive win in the state. Moreover, Congress has also demanded the resignation of Brijmohan and proper inquiry of Brijmohan Agrawal corruption. With this, it is clear that this allegation is politically motivated. As per the report, Brijmohan Agrawal son and wife bought the land near Sirpur in Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh. This is a popular Buddhist tourist site and building a resort here is highly profitable.

The report also clears that the land in 1994, a farmer Vishnu Ram Sahu donated the land to the water and resources department. Later the land was transferred to the forest department. So far the land purchase is red-flagged and a report will explain the real issue in the purchase. So far the allegation is a myth and is a well-planned conspiracy against Brijmohan Agrawal and his family. Just know the real facts about the case and do not believe in the negative news that is politically influenced.
