The Hupao Springtime is in the part garden of the Huichan Forehead (commonly known as the Hupao Temple), which is at the foot of the Baihe Optimum (White Motorised hoist Peak) of Daci Hill, five miles from Hangzhou Town, Zhejiang Region. The Hupao Springtime takes its name from a tale. According to the tale, an achieved monk known as Huanzhong came and resided here during the 14thyear (819) of the Yuanhe rule in the Tang Empire (618-907). Later, due to lack of h2o, the monk organized to keep the temple. One night, he had a desire in which an underworld informed him two lions would move a water fall here. As predicted, the next day two great lions from the Hengshan Hill circled the spot and dug an opening which triggered the spring to gush forth -- hence, the name Hupao Springtime (Running - Competition Spring).      

In truth, the Hupao Springtime is established by subterranean h2o leaking through blood vessels and breaks within quarta movement sandstone.
