My Favorite Yummy Low Carb Snack
Eating low carb is a wonderful way to lose weight and improve your health but it can be challenging to find snacks. After searching around for a bit, I came across a snack made by simply microwaving deluxe American cheese slices that is delicious and satisfying for that often boring low carb lifestyle.
So simple but MUST be done on parchment paper. Use the slice whole, or divide into four pieces, place on paper and microwave on high for about 1 minute, depending on the power of your oven. I go for 1 minute 10-20 seconds with mine. Slide paper onto a wire rack, peel off your snack and enjoy. These make great "crackers" to use with toppings. I add flavor by sprinkling onion powder or garlic powder or spicy hot salt on top before I nuke them. Make a delicious tostada type snack by using a whole slice topped with your favorite Mexican treats.
