Here's the Crocheted Hat the Won

Here is the crocheted hat that won the prize in the contest we had at our small town Spring Fest in McCormick, SC.  The crocheted pansies on the band were made by my grandmother and are probably close to 100 years old now!  My grandmother taught me to crochet (hey--I have that book, too bad I didn't write it!) when I was about 6 and I've been doing crochet work for over 54 years now.....I've even had the pleasure to do professional work for Carol Alexander, the editor of "Crochet" magazine.
