Must-Have Scarf Styles That'll Keep You Warm All Winter Long
I don't know about you, but I am a huge winter lover. When snow starts falling and cold weather gets everyone stuck around the fireplace with a glass of warm red wine or cacao and a few quality hours of friends-gathering with guitars and singing and laughing... ah, winter perfection. And when I go out, all that white colour blinds my eyes and the cold wind starts tickling me on the neck. And what I especially love about winter is that I get to dress with as much pieces of clothing as I can, which you can't really do in summer. You know, jeans, boots, knitwear, coats in all sizes and length, jackets and the most important: accessories. Now winter accessories women adore are the scarf, gloves and occasionally hats ( we still go to do our hair, so a hat is not always an option) . Scarves however, are a must-have accessories women of all ages should have in their closet. And not just any type of scarf, but winter, warm, knitted scarves. Here are a few suggestions on the scarves you should own this winter:

The all-timer chunky knitted scarf
These are my personal favourite. I have knitted scarves in most colours and I have them in all sizes and lengths. The classic scarf that every women should have, is the neutral coloured, knitted, medium long scarf that you can easily wrap around you neck. Invest in a good and quality scarf of this type; you'll be wearing it all winter long, and you want it to serve you for many years.
A shawl scarf
Now this is a piece of accessories women adore! A shawl is a relatively new trend, and for winter, you can easily pull it out with a scarf that's made of cashmere or fine cotton. Don't choose silk for this purpose; it's winter and silk should be resting in your closet while snow is on the stage.
Faux fur scarf
If you can get your hands on good quality faux fur, don't think twice; get it! Faux fur can give that dose of elegance to every outfit possible; whether it's a leather jacket or a very sturdy coat you're wearing. Plus, it will keep your neck very warm, and it can provide you warmth on evenings when you need to wear an elegant dress without a coat.
Plaid scarf
Plaid scarves are returning on the fashion scene big time! Yes, they have a lot of colours on them and are hard to wear in any combination, but think of them this way: how else will you add colour to your otherwise neutral outfit in winter? A plaid scarf is the perfect choice. Just try to keep it classy; black and red with white combinations, nothing that screams out of colours.
