Not including Achievements

Remember, you are selling yourself through your resume, so tell your potential employer about your accomplishments. How you performed your duties and what reward did you receive for them? Include all such information along with your experience.

Exaggeration

This is a BIG NO-NO! Never lie unless you want a career graph like Scott Thompson – the CEO of Yahoo! Mention all your achievements and educational history honestly. Today the employers are smart and can easily identify any lie that is on your resume. Social media, contacts, references – everything can help in knowing more about you!
