Microsoft releases February 2019 Non-Security Office Updates

Microsoft, the IT giant, has launched the February 2019 Non-Security Office 365 updates with several improvements and fixes for the MSI-rooted versions of Office 2010, Office 2013 and Office 2016. The updates are released and publicly accessible today for users via Microsoft’s Update Service and from the Download Center to manually install and update Office 365. The updates are accessible via www office com/setup    

Although, the new updates are not compatible with the click-to-run versions of the apps including Microsoft Office 365 Home. Users might want to install previous versions of updates. It depends on the nature of update or service pack they wish to install via office.com/setup, as is the case of some of the fixes released for Office 2010 versions.

Microsoft discloses a few features for Spring-release April 2019 Update

This new update encompasses several novel features and plenty of additional performance and stability improvements. Microsoft has also unveiled a few ‘preview features’ to spotlight the upcoming milestone spring-release of April 2019 for Dynamic 365 and Power Platinum for marketing. If you wish to experience them both, you must install and activate them separately.

‘Preview Features’ are not a part of these new February 2019 update but only a few features were released as part of it to stimulate the excitement for April 2019 release in Spring. They should only be used on non-production instances until they are made accessible for general users. The April 2019 release notes highlight all the features scheduled to release from April 2019 to the end of September 2019 for Dynamic 365 and Power Platinum. The April 2019 wave of feature releases will bring several possibilities to enhance business productivity with profitable outcomes.
