MICAT 2016
MICAT 2016 (MICA Admission Test) would be held in online mode on December 2016 by MICA Ahmadabad for offering admission to interested and eligible candidate in “Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C) for session 2016-18. There are around 180 seats available for admission. Successful candidates would be offered admission in five specializations, such as Marketing Research and Analytics, Brand Management, Advertising Management, Digital Communication Management and Media Management. MICAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 or 10 + 2 + 4 system) or equivalent qualification in any discipline. Final year candidates can also apply.
He must have appeared for either CAT 2016, XAT 2016 or should have GMAT score (2012 onward).
MICAT 2017 Application Form
Application form can be filled from 4 September to 4 December 2015 in online mode on the official website of MICA. Candidates have to supply correct and complete details (personal, educational, and communicational) in the application form.
MICAT 2017 Application Fee
Candidates have to pay application fee to complete the application form process. Fee is Rs.1965 which can be paid in online or offline mode. In online mode, payment can be done through credit/debit card or net-banking. In offline mode, payment can be done through DD taken from any bank drawn in favor of “MICA” payable at Ahmadabad. Candidates can also make counter payments via cash at various available counters in different cities. In DD mode, candidates have to take a print of the payment advice form, sign it and send the same along with the DD at the official postal address of MICA.

MICAT 2017 Examination Pattern
- MICAT Exam 2016 would be held in online mode. Answers have to be marked using mouse. It would also test psychometric ability to assess candidate’s leadership potential.
- Questions would be asked from areas relevant to media, marketing, advertising & current affairs and crucial for career in Strategic Marketing and Communication.
- There are two test booklets in the MICAT 2017 – test booklet 1 and test booklet 2. It is necessary to attempt both booklets in the examination.
- Test booklet 1 – Part 1 comprises of around 120 multiple choice questions. ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Part 2 comprises of 2 descriptive type questions.
- Test booklet 2 - Comprises of 3 sections where all the descriptive questions are needed to be answered by the candidates failing to which the answer sheet will not be evaluated.
