MICAT 2016 MBA examination
The MICA Admission Test, commonly known as MICAT is an MBA entrance exam for admissions to the post graduate diploma management in communicating (PGDM C) at MICA, Ahmedabad.
This national level test conducted by MICA for PGDM-C 2016 entrances have done major changes in terms of choice cycle, qualification exams, aptitude test format and Group Exercise & Personal Interview (GE&PI) centres. The application procedure for the exam starts from September 10 and continues till December 4. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 13, 2015 in computer base manner only, across 14 cities. Before the exam was scheduled to be conducted on December 20, but in a press release on August 20, the exam date has been shifted to December 13, 2015.

The selection process for PGDM-C 201618 will be run twice.
It's vital for the Candidates to have valid scores of a minumum of one of the three qualification exams: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards).
MICAT will be held only in the computer based format in 14 cities across the country.
First period Group Exercise & Private Interview (GE PI) will be conducted at Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai along with the 2nd stage GE-PI at MICA, Ahmedabad simply.

MICAT 2016 Qualification Criteria:
A Bachelor's degree, with the 10 2 3 system, or an equivalent qualification in almost any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates are also eligible to apply.
MICAT 2016 Application Process:
Nominees need to register or apply for the MICAT Application Form online along with an application fee of Rs 1800 approx. The application form must be filled with correct informations in the feilds that were specified.
MICAT 2016 Exam Pattern:
According to the exam routine, the test is split into 2 sections specifically, Section I and Section II. The paper will undoubtedly be both subjective and objective in nature.
Section I'll have the duration to complete this section as well as 4 descriptive questions is 35 minutes. The questions in this segment are on writing arguments, essay and story.
The duration of the Section II is 90 minutes, that'll be divided into three sub sections, including questions on Reasoning Psychometric Test and Verbal Ability and General Knowledge.
MICAT 2016 Selection Procedure: The choice procedure for PGDM-C 2016-18 has three steps:
Step 1- Each nominee must have scores of at least one of the three exams: CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards).
Measure 2- MICA Admission Test (MICAT) to assess leadership potential of the applicant representing an aptitude for creative thinking, communication and consumer centricity.
Candidates will be assessed by the entrance test in regions such as Divergent Thinking Skills, Written Communication Skills, General Awareness about modern societal and company problems, including areas related to Verbal & Analytical Capabilities, promotion, promotion & current affairs and media. The Admission test also has psychometric profiling to measure the candidate's leadership potential.
