MBA | Pathway to success
Session 8: MBA | Pathway to success
An MBA is a ubiquitous degree these days, especially so in India. It is said that if you’re doing Indian society right, all roads lead to an MBA. And it’s true. Students from fields as diverse as literature, commerce, engineering, medicine, mass communication, art and the humanities go for an MBA after graduating. And every two bit institute is offering it. Does that mean that all MBA degrees, no matter from which institute, are created equal? Clearly not.
With every
other person you meet hopping on to the MBA bandwagon, getting your MBA from
the right place becomes of paramount importance. This session is dedicated to
guiding students about the best B-schools in India and abroad, and how they can
get there.
Session 9: Entrepreneurship | From Idea to Enterprise
There
are countless numbers of people who, at least once, dream of starting their own
company. In most of the cases, the idea never takes off – in part because of a
lack of will, but primarily because it involves a huge risk. People are
justifiably apprehensive and risk-averse, as the average person stands to lose
a lot if their start-up fails and they don’t have much to fall back on.
But
with the right roadmap, one can chart the course to success, while successfully
dodging the pitfalls along the way. What
many potential entrepreneurs are perhaps looking for, but don’t find, is informed
counsel and guidance. Recognizing this
vacuum, WAC 2015 is organizing the session ‘Entrepreneurship | From Idea to
Enterprise’.
