Matt Said: Little People, Big World is Fake!

Recently, according to sources, Little People, Big World will return this month with new episodes. The team released extended trailers of Amy and Matt Roloff clashing with the former’s role in the family.

Little People, Big World, is an American television show that premiered on 4 March 2006 on TLC. The show chronicles the lives of six Roloff family members near Portland, Oregon. Many of the series’ episodes focus on the children, Zach, who has dwarfism. On 26 August 2010, TLC announced the sixth season, and that would be the last show of the franchise. After that season, the series has released many specials, including “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Breaking Down the Walls.” TLC announced a spin-off series on 5 October 2012- Little People Big World: Wedding Farm. The screenplay revolves around Amy and Matt as they start their wedding business on the farm. And the show premiered on 13 November 2012 and aired for six episodes. Little People, Big World, returned for its seventh season in October 2013. The seventh season consists of eight episodes. The eighth season of the series began on 2 September 2014, and the ninth season aired on 6 July 2015. TLC renewed the 14th season on 2 April 2019. The team recently announced the 20th season of the show on 14 February 2020.

Last week, Amy was hosting an Instagram Live session with friend Lisa Dixon when the topic of Matt’s interesting comments came up. Matt said that Little People, Big World was fake. And to be more accurate, he said that Little People, Big World was edited to stir up the more drama possible.

Matt shared that when he and Amy argued whether it is a flag lot or neck, they were trying to make television. He added that they know those arguments were interesting, and people like to hear back and forth. Unfortunately, some people do not understand the humor in all that and take that all seriously. They get mad at the couple.

Matt also explained that producers would combine multiple discussions/disagreements over several weeks, and it seems like they are taking place once and hence making the problems intense and legitimate.

He likes to joke with people that he does not do drama in ordinary life, and he wants to get paid for his drama. So when they are doing the show, they create drama, and Amy does it too. When questioned, are they arguing, though? He replied, “Heck, no!”
