We plan events or parties for many different occasions. It maybe a birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation or just having a few close friends over for pizza and soda and just hang out; whatever the occasion you generally, as a rule, plan.

 

The event you are planning, demands lots of consideration, and you need to be as informed as you can. If it is a birthday party, you keep in the back of your mind the age of the celebrant. Kiddies’ parties are easier to plan as they need just colors and lots of it. Colorful decorations in their favorite cartoon characters, balloon props of cartoon characters, ice cream, cake decorated in their favorite cartoon character, a piñata are always welcome as they have fun trying to break the thing to get the goodie inside, music that you know your child likes will work.

 

Budgets are usually the reason you decide to cater and decorate. If this is the case, then you have no problem; decoration is easy. You and the birthday girl or boy can go through their toy box or trunk, and you are sure to find items that can be used to decorate. Balloons can be had at your local store, and I am sure you have left over items from the previous party that you can use. Making the cake is fun, as both of you can do this job. All you need is cake mixes and a spoon, and you are on your way. Decorating the cake is also fun; you can use plain white icing and have your birthday boy or girl decorate the icing with candy, and M&Ms, they will certainly have fun doing this, and will be proud of their creation.

 

Food is not a problem as hotdogs, pizzas, and sandwiches are always favorites for kids. Chips, a popcorn machine, which you can rent from your local party supplies store, can do the trick of supplying popcorn without you having to do the popping; just delegate an adult to serve. Games are fun, and they do not cost anything; you can also join in the fun by playing with your child’s guests. A movie rental is appropriate as this will give you some time to rest between activities. The guest list must not be too big as you will find it difficult to control too many children. Ten or fifteen the most is appropriate, and invitations are a must. Those can be hand made, and you and your child will also have fun making them.
