Liverpool vs. Monterrey – FIFA Club World Cup Match Highlights!

On the latest football news - Liverpool vs. Monterrey in the Club World Cup was really close! The match ended in 1-2, With The Reds taking the victory at Khalifa International Stadium, in Doha Qatar. The visit of the English team to the country was worth it as they qualify for the finals of the Cup.

The first half was grueling as Naby Keita of Liverpool scored a goal at the 12th minute of the match. This was then countered back 2 mins later by Rogelio Funes Mori of Monterrey. The match has been a back and forth for most of the first half.

The second half is the same story. Both teams are attacking relentlessly, but still unable to convert. Fouls were drawn and Liverpool seems to have the dominance in possession. Near the end of the match, Divock Origi is subbed out in place of Roberto Firmino. At injury time, the sub paid off with Firmino scoring the winning goal for Liverpool.

The Liverpool vs. Monterrey match is in the books! What an intense day for the reds! They surely took on the challenge and brought the victory home. They are now preparing for the finals of the cup!
