out to be one of the fastest pandemic disease, hitting mostly the tropical or
sub-tropical world.
The World Health Organization has stated that the occurrence of this disease, has increased 30 folds over the last 50 years and today almost half of the population is at risk.

THE SYMPTOMS:
Although the affected person will always get some kind of symptoms, there are some experiences which come common with the Flu. There are some symptoms which persistently show their signs immediately after six days of infection with dengue test.
These are commonly the mild symptoms. They are:
- Suddenly high fever or temperature
- Immense headache, with pain behind the eyes
- At certain situations the presence of skin rash, which appear two to five days after the onset
- Nausea, vomiting
- Tremendous joint and muscle pain

After the round of initial fever, few patients also experience some very severe symptoms, ranging so high that they usually indicate hemorrhage fever. If the afflicted person, shows any of those pending symptoms, it is always advised to seek medical assistance.
The severe symptoms include:
- Red patches that look like bruises
- Bleeding from nose or gums
- Severe stomach infection
- Signs of shock
- Vomiting blood
- Internal bleeding or black vomit
WHAT CAUSES DENGUE?
Being a mosquito borne disease, dengue is spread through the bite of mosquitoes that carry the virus. They simply carry the germs and do not cause the same. However, it cannot be spread through casual contact. The cycle is that when a mosquito bites an infected person, and in turn gets infected to pass on the virus to other people.
There are basically four dengue viruses, which are responsible for causing dengue fever, and are spread by the species known as Aedes Aegypti. Hence it can be concluded that dengue is a transmitted disease.
THE DIAGNOSIS:
It is true that there is some diagnosis of dengue fever, which are said to be similar to that of the flu. Hence the chances of correct and accurate diagnosis are always delayed. Hence there are few methods with which you can diagnose your disease. They are:
- Taking the blood sample for dengue test
- Assessing the symptoms of the disease, followed by some diagnostic tests
- Studying the patient’s medical history and travel history
THE TREATMENT:
Dengue being a virus, there has been no particular medication prepared for this disease. Hence the treatment methods, are designed in such a way in order to prevent the implication from getting it further aggravated.
