A good leader is the one who can effectively communicate what is to be said at the right time and in the right way. Time is a component that has the potential of changing the outcome of any communication. A leader realises this and acts accordingly. This does maximum benefit and increases the impact of what is being said.

5.    Feedback: A leader is open to feedback from the employees and the clients. This is linked to the growth of the leader and the business. Feedback is not a one way process and good communication skills solve this crisis that many firms face. When a leader puts good communication practises in a firm, the environment becomes conducive to interaction and discussion rather than one way dictatorship. This also leads to new ideas being germinated and implemented.

6.    Structure: There is always a structure to the thought process of a good leader. Structure is an effective part of communication mechanism as well. The thoughts of a leader are never chaotic and confusing but are rather nuanced and structures. This sends out a positive message and the possibility of misunderstandings come down to a least minimum.

7.    Right message: A leader does not engage in futile bantering and focuses on conveying only the essentials. This is crucial in maintain the gravity of the position and instils a stronger work ethic in the organisation as a whole. People understand that work is the primary focus and nothing else this is healthy for the organisation on the whole.
