Learn The Basic Steps Involved in Recovering an Apple Account

The Apple account helps apple users to get access to various apple services and apps. The account has an ID and is secured by a password.  If users forget their account password then they will not be able to log in and use apple services. So to prevent this Apple provides ways to recover the account. If you want to know the recovery steps then they are given below.


Steps For recovery of apple account
  1. Open your Apple account page.
  2. Click the "Forgot password" option.
  3. Enter your Apple ID and select ‘Continue’.
  4. The recovery options will now appear.
  5. Recovery can be done through email, security questions, and phone numbers. The email and phone number need to be linked with your account.
  6. Users can select any one option.
  7. On selecting alternate email option a link to reset password will be sent there. Users can open the link to reach the password reset page.
  8. On selecting the security question option, users will have to enter their date of birth and answer two security questions. They can then reset the password.
  9. If two-step verification or two-step authentication is enabled on your apple device then users can enter the recovery key and verification code from their trusted device. 
  10. Now a page will open.
  11. Enter a new password here.
  12. This password needs to be strong and unique.
  13. Re-enter the password to confirm it
  14. Your account’s password will be changed.
  15. Users can now go back to the login page and enter their Apple ID and this new password. They will be able to log in.
