Karnataka Consumer Court is the Right place to move for consumer complaints

Karnataka consumer court enforces the commerce law of the nation. Therefore, if you have purchased a product or service and not satisfied with it for the money you have paid then you can file a complaint against the company or manufacturer or seller to get a replacement, refund and compensation from the company or the seller. Consumer courts are formed to redress the complaints and disputes of the customers. Add documents such as a bill, invoice, cash memo, warranty or guarantee card or any type of receipts provided by the company is considered as a valid document. The document should have the date and amount.


Filing a complaint in Karnataka Consumer Court can be the right step to take action against consumer frauds and unfair trade practices of a company. It will help you to get redressal of consumer complaints. On the other hand, you can also move legally and fight for your rights. However, before you make the filing of the complaint, it is necessary to send a legal notice to the company or the seller. It is the responsibility of the company or seller to redress the issue within a span of one month. If the company fails to do so, you can move the case to the consumer court.
