June First week holds the final dates for UPSEE results

Students from Uttar Pradesh eager to opt for Pharmacy, Engineering, integrated Management and Architecture courses now wait for the UPSEE results to come out. It’s now just the matter of time as the results would be out early next month.

What is UPSEE?

UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) is an annual entrance for securing admission in degree level engineering colleges and other professional colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The exam is organised and administered by the Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. While only the domicile residents and the candidates whose parents are domicile residents are allowed to appear for the exam, there are some exemptions in the case. The exam provides first year admission for courses like B.Arch./B.Des./ B. Tech./B.Pharm./ BHMCT /BFAD/BFA/MBA/MBA (Integrated) /MCA/MCA (Integrated) and it also provides Second year admissions into B. Tech./B.Pharm./MCA courses.

The exam contains 11 papers, of which the first 4 are OMR based and the rest 7 are computer based tests. All of them are objective based multiple choice questions except for the drawing aptitude test. The subject matter of these papers includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Bio-Technology, Computer Science etc.

2018 witnessed UPSEE exams on 29^th April for which the applications were accepted online from 23^rd January to 30^th March 2018. The answer keys of the questions asked in exams were uploaded on the UPSEE website and a deadline of 7^th May was given to the candidate to bring into notice the grievances. The final answer keys would be out in the last week of May.

When would the results and merit list for UPSEE 2018 be declared?

The First week of June is the time for declaration of UPSEE 2018 results by Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University as mentioned in a recent notice issues by them. Along with the result separate merit lists for each course would be released.

This is what UPSEE Results will contain:

1. Merit position/ Ranking of the candidates.

2. A score card with total marks.

3. Individual Marks scored by the candidate in each subject.

How to Check Results for UPSEE 2018?

1. Visit the official site of UPSEE www.upsee.nic.in

2. Check for the link mentioning ‘UPSEE 2018 Results’.

3. Fill in the Roll no. or Application no. in the given fields.

4. Check the UPSEE 2018 result and download it

5. Candidates can print the results for their reference or documentation procedures

Post declaration of results, if the candidate wants to check and verify the marks in the answer paper, there is an option to download the answer sheet provided to the Candidates. For this they are required to pay Rs. 5000 for each paper online by the first week of June.

When will the Counselling process begin?

Counselling for UPSEE Candidates would begin third week of June onwards. The Candidates enlisted in the final merit list would be called for counselling process. The seats from one of the several colleges registered under AKTU would be assigned to the students. The counselling process would have five rounds; the seat left vacant in each round would be filled in with subsequent rounds.
