Jodhpur National University, the first private University of Western Rajasthan was founded in 1998 by CA Kamal Mehta .He is the person who laid the foundation stone of this very university. The university aims to provide quality education and also gives equal opportunity for games and recreation.

Jodhpur National University is located in the main suburb of Jodhpur City. It has lush green environment and good work culture. It is equipped with many other facilities such as modern hostel, ATM facility, transportation, WI-FI Campus, Labs, Hospital, grounds and courts for games and recreation.

It is affiliated by UGC (United Grant Commission) and DEC (Distance Education Council). It offers programs in various streams such as Engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, dental law, computer applications, applied science etc.
