With the rapid development of information construction in China, radar technology is playing an important role in an increasing number of fields. The latest breakthrough in radar technology combined with high-precision 

military applications and small, affordable business applications has led to the revival of radar use and methods. Many of the upcoming technological growth areas, namely autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles (uav) and 

various commercial/civilian applications, rely on solid-state radar and new manufacturing and programming methods. Improving performance and reducing cost is a development direction of new antenna and radar manufacturing technology. 

and slip ring is critical in the part of the radar antenna, Its role is to make a continuous connection of electrical energy and signal between the rotating part and the fixed part of the radar. Which JINPAT newly developed JP01-029, 

JP13-045 series of slip ring technology has significant advantages.


The slip ring is also called a rotary electrical connector, slip ring collector, commutator or swivel. Slip rings can improve system performance by simplifying operations and eliminating damage prone wires which improves system 

performance, simplifies system construction, and prevents sprain from spinning. Because the radar antenna is often exposed to open air work, therefore, the waterproofing, anti-salt spray, impact resistance, anti-vibration 

performance of slip ring is particularly important. The radar antenna slip ring produced by JINPAT are tested for impact resistance (to meet the 7.2.1 standard in GJB150.18A-2009), anti-vibration test (meet the 3.2.4 standard 

in GJB150.16A-2009) and humidity resistance test(passed the GJB150.9A-2009 damp heat experiment). But also can be used in harsh environments such as high altitude cold environment, which can transmit large capacity data, signal 

and ensure no leakage, and the whole machine can meet EMC electromagnetic interference requirement (GJB151B - 2013 test). And integrated high frequency / fiber/waveguide rotary joint modules, which can be transmitted over a few 

hundred kilometers long network applications, with ultra-low attenuation loss, ultra-low transmission fluctuations etc features. Due to the high maintenance cost of the radar slip ring, it is necessary to achieve long life, 

no maintenance, no lubrication and other requirements in order to reduce the cost of production. And JINPAT production of slip ring can totally meet this requirement.
