I've recently learned a valuable life lesson from an unlucky experience with my bathroom. Beyond the good looks, the awesome decoration, the comfort and all the cool stuff you have in this so important room, are hidden so many little details that you have to pay attention once in a while. Piping, waterproofing and electrical outlets are really the backbone of a bathroom.

Last morning, I've woke up early, took a shower, brushed my teeth and it was all fine, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and so on. Until, suddenly a weird hellish noise, similar to a pneumatic drill came from the toilet room, that is situated just next to the bathroom. At first, I was quite shocked and I really panicked. I as wondering “the hell is going on here?!”. I was really surprised to find out, that the valve broke up and the pipe leading to the water-tank of the toilet, was breached. Since the valve was kinda jammed, I really panicked and kinda, didn't know what to do. Until the plumbers came to help me with that major problem, my house was already flooded. At some point, I felt like I'm in a swimming pool, there was so much cold water on the floor.

Overall, this bad situation cost me, so much more, than if I did pay to a contractor to make me a new bathroom, with a complete new pipe system and plumbing, plus paying for an after builders cleaning from Fantastic Cleaners Ruislip.

I hope I was able to share my bad experience and protect you from bad situation like this one happening to you. I recommend you do a maintenance of your pipes and other key parts of your home, at least once a year. Doing this, will save you much more money than if you have to cope with the consequences of a broken pipe, or an electrical breakdown. Imagine if you are not home, and my case happens to you. It cost me so much, just for a 20 minutes period of time, so you can think about what could happen to your place if it is left unchecked and you are not home when this happens. It would be disastrous.
