iPhone 7S launch date and everything we should know

It's official. Apple will make an announcement on September 12 at 10 a.m. PT, at its new Cupertino headquarters.
That's all we know for sure: the date, the time and the location. (Apple did not respond to our requests for additional details.) But a steady stream of rumors paint a pretty crisp picture of what we're expecting to see. And there's more than just a new flagship model marking the iPhone's 10th anniversary edition. We're also looking forward to getting our first glimpses of the iPhone 7S and why does my phone get hot .
Based on the speculative evidence we've seen, Apple is swinging for the fences with the iPhone 8 (or whatever it ends up being called). But the forthcoming "S" series may also feature some pretty significant upgrades, too.
So, despite persistent rumors about manufacturing issues that might force Apple to postpone the announcement of the three new why is my phone hot -- just this week the Wall Street Journal reported that the new Steve Jobs Theater might not be ready in time -- an announcement is imminent. And, to further ramp up excitement, September 12 may also bring the new Apple Watch 3 and a 4K Apple TV.
