Innovation Driving Growth for Eagle Platforms

by John Hinds SEO Specialist

Never backwards in moving forwards Eagle Platforms have managed to consolidate during the difficult market conditions over the past couple of years as well as pour heart, soul and no small amount of investment into some key innovations that, alongside a solid business model, loyal and valued customers and a superb team have helped drive growth to new levels.

Here we are proud to introduce some of the key innovations adopted by Eagle Platforms, including some new faces, that will stand the company in great stead now and well into the future. In addition we look at how the growth has enabled us to invest in new machinery, courses and help out in the local community.

Innovations

VR Simulators for training

Eagle Platforms are delighted to be the very first company in the North of England able to offer the opportunity to use a simulator for IPAF and PAL+ training courses, with our new equipment featuring the very latest technological developments. Our virtual reality simulator is a high tech learning solution designed to train operators on how best to use boom, slab scissor and rough terrain scissor lifts. Unlike traditional training that can necessitate shutdowns and the use of live equipment, our simulator is a more cost-effective, less disruptive solution enabling handlers to have access to hands-on training based on a variety of scenarios and with easy access enabling delegates to train anywhere and any time. In terms of the scenarios, the simulators give access to high risk situations, while safety is guaranteed and performance feedback is given. Industry experts are consulted to help forge the most appropriate training paths for operators of all levels. Our simulators are a real game changer!

Electric Rough Terrain machines

In what is an enormous signal of our intent to embrace a greener future, Eagle Platforms have invested heavily in electric rough terrain machines – a notable example being the Haulotte HS18 E PRO, with a platform capacity of 750kg and an outstanding reach and performance level.

Growth

New members of the team

Since 2020 Eagle Platforms have welcomed new apprentices, a new senior engineer in Chris Dent and a new service foreman in Dave Morley as well as our new training manager Jamie Fleetwood. It is our continued investment in people that represents our most important asset.

Senior Management

No amount of innovation will help a company without a great team and Eagle Platforms have recently expanded our senior management team to include Adam Nicholson as senior sales manager and Wendie Walker, who’s accounting history will prove an invaluable asset moving forwards.

Fleet size

Our investment in new machines has been quite incredible over the last 18 months and a quick browse through our inventory will speak volumes in this regard.

New training courses

We are delighted to have been able to add a swathe of new training courses, including the IPAF Demonstrator Course, IPAF Site Assessment (for MEWPs) Course and IPAF Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Course.

The wider community

No matter how much we grow, Eagle Platforms recognise the importance of the local community and are delighted to be able to assist Magna Science Museum and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice as charitable partners.
