Information Review For QuickBooks Invoicing Software
by Lee Smith Technical SupportAs a business owner I have been looking for software that
would help me manage my business more efficiently. I have been looking for a
few weeks for reliable and easy invoicing software that would help me improve
my businesses day to day management. One of my biggest challenges has been
dealing with the financial management and tracking of my businesses expenses
using a competent software program. I have heard people recommend a variety of
different types of software to help with bookkeeping tasks. Out of necessity
and I began to research different software applications; I really studied, to
learn which program would best fit my needs. Recently I began testing
QuickBooks because of its popularity.
QuickBooks is one of the most well known applications and I
wanted to learn an easy invoicing software and financial management application
that is well accepted by the business world. After all eventually I will need
to hire more help and I want to find people that will know how to use the
software that is used in my office. If you have a strange 3rd party application
you may face a large learning curve as you try to train your staff.
These are some of the things both good and bad that I have
learned about easy invoicing software as I have been evaluating it:
The Good
If you have a medium sized business you can upgrade to
QuickBooks Enterprise This version lets you use up to 30 users.
I have found that Quick Books is an easy invoicing software
application that is designed to create invoices according to the way your
business is run. There are 120+ built-in reports, forms and estimates. This was
a little confusing to me, I just choose the one that looked good to me and went
with it.
QuickBooks is widely used in the business world. Finding
qualified staff members who can integrate into the QuickBooks part of your
business is easy. For a small business owner training a new employee can be a
very costly activity.
The Bad
If you are on a tight budget QuickBooks Enterprise is a
little on the expensive side. There is a price range of $1,500 to $4,000
depending on where you shop. There are other versions of Quick Books that are
for smaller sized companies, these don't have as many features or room for as
many users but you may not need this added usability for a small business.
If you lack accounting experience there is a bit of a
learning curve to using this software. Even though this is easy invoicing
software be prepared to spend many hours working to use the features that you
need most.
