As per the National Steel Policy of 2017, then it has envisaged near to 300 million tones of production capacity. And this is an estimation of by 2030-31. In the year 2018, all the steel consumption of India is said to be grown near to 5.7 percent. With this all things, now India is going to surpass the USA and can be going to become World’s largest steel consumer in 2019.
