  • Once McAfee Virtual Technician or MVT is installed, scan your device for any issue.

Method 3: Uninstall and Reinstall McAfee Product

To troubleshoot this problem you have to uninstall and then reinstall McAfee. Use MCPR tool to safely eliminate McAfee and then download it using the same process which you used to download it for the first time. To know about the MCPR tool, read the following steps.

  • Download and Install the MCPR tool from the McAfee Website.
  • If encouraged, save the MCPR.exe to the desktop.
  • Double-click to run the MCPR tool on your device.
  • At McAfee Removal Screen, click on the option of Agree and accept the End User License Agreement.
  • Follow further instructions to eliminate McAfee and Restart your device and start the installation process from the start.
