How to USB Flash Update SKYBOX AS100?

Because some customers reflect some problems of SKYBOX AS100, such as XBMC inaccessibility issues. Our engineers tested and fix these problems ,today we released a new firmware , the following is SKYBOX AS100 firmware update tutorial.

Download The New IMG: EarnWisdom-SKYBOX-AS100-20140711

Step 1. Download the IMG.

Step 2. Prepare a USB stick,empty your USB flash. Put the SKYBOX AS100 new IMG into USB flash.

Step 3. Connect USB Flash to the A USB Port of SKYBOX AS100.

Step 4. Press and hold the button on the bottom of the machine, do not release it, and then turn the machine switch until the AS100 appears L080 ~ L090 on the front panel displays, release the button at the bottom of the machine.

Step 5. Now , you need to wait for about 5-7 minute, then you can find following picture.

Step 6. Enter the Android all functions.As shown in following pic.

Step 7. Select the “Settings”.

Step 8. Select the “System Backup or Update”, then select the “Restory Factory”,then “OK”.

Step 9. The machine will reboot automatically.

Step 10. After update, the machine will install all Android Apks automatically (such as XBMC, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube,etc.). you just need to wait for about 3-4 minute.

Step 11. Then, You can try to enter the XBMC to test it.

Step 12. Reboot the SKYBOX AS 100,if the system can be normal operation, the update process is complete. Now you can use it.

NOTE: Keep the USB Flash being inserted in the USB port of AS 100 during the whole process. If the upgrade is not successful, you can try it again.
