Adobe Flash Player uninstall guide (For Windows)
Solution1: Uninstall Flash from Windows control Panel
Windows XP
Go to Start, navigate to Settings and click on Control Panel, navigate to Add or Remove Programs, choose Programs and Features, find the Flash, and hit Remove.
Windows 8
Move mouse cursor to the bottom right corner of the screen. Click Settings on Charms bar and go to Control Panel. Select Uninstall a program and remove Flash Player.
Windows 7/Vista
Go to Start, navigate to Control Panel, select Uninstall a program/Programs and Features, find the Flash, and click on Uninstall.
Windows 10
Click Start, click on Settings and the choose System. Click on Apps & Features and all the programs installed within your system will be displayed. Find the Flash and click on Uninstall button. Follow the instructions to complete the removal.
Solution2: Use Flash uninstaller from Adobe
Save the file in a location where you can find it easily after you restart your computer. For example, save it on your Windows desktop.
Exit all browsers and other programs that use Flash
Double-click the icon of the uninstaller that downloaded to your computer.
Follow the prompts. Click Yes if you see the message "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?"
The uninstaller will run and remove the Flash from your PC.
Choose Start > Run.
Copy and paste the following and click OK. C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
Delete all the files in this folder.
Use the same method to delete the file in the following folders:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
%appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player
How to uninstall Flash Player from MAC?
Download the appropriate uninstaller from the following page: Uninstall Flash Player | Mac
In the Safari browser, select Window > Downloads. Open the uninstaller by double clicking it.
Close all your browsers and then click Uninstall to remove Flash.
You may also want to delete the following directories after uninstalling Flash: “<home directory>/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash\ Player” and “<home directory>/Library/Caches/Adobe/Flash\ Player”
Restart OS X
Delete all remaining files and folders locating in the following folders:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Flash Player.plugin
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/flashplayer.xpt
~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/
~/Library/Caches/Adobe/Flash Player/
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash Player
At this point, Flash Player should be fully removed from your system.
