How to Troubleshoot Not Receiving Push Notification Issue Through Arlo Sign In
Suppose you have set up your Arlo Camera with
the base station but you are not receiving proper push notification on your
mobile device. To troubleshoot this issue, Arlo Troubleshooting is
required; To do the same, first, you need to do Arlo
Sign In; For this Click on the Arlo app icon on your mobile
device and enter your valid credentials like Email and Password in the
appropriate boxed, press enter button to Arlo Sign In successfully.
To receiving notification on mobile, First
Arlo registers your mobile device for receiving push notification when you Sign
In. you also have to make sure that other applications like Shutapp or Doze are
not restricting push notification and also you need to check and make sure that
your mobile device is not to be set on Do Not Disturbed mode.
If you follow the above procedure and still
you are not getting proper notification from the Arlo, kindly contact with
Netgear Certified Team.
You also need to look out the rules setting
for the Armed modes and make sure that push notification is enabled in the
armed mode or custom mode.
Check the
push notification in the Armed mode settings:
To check push notification in the armed
mode, first tap on the Arlo icon on your
device. If you are using your computer, type https://my.arlo.com/#/login
address in the address bar of the browser. You will see Arlo Sign In window,
where enter your valid credentials ie Email address and password. Now you will
see the device page, then tap on the Mode button and you will get a list of
modes. Click on the edit icon that is next to Armed, you will see the edit rule
window. You need to check the push notification check-box must be marked that
is under the alert section. if you have made any changes in push notification
checkbox, click on Save and your setting.

To check push notification on the android device, the first tap on setting icon on an android device, click on the
application manager tab and click Arlo to show the Arlo notification setting.
In the setting page, you have to make sure that the show notification setting
is to be selected. if you have made changes in the previous settings, click on
the Save button to save the settings.

To check push notification on an iOS device,
the first tap on setting icon on a mobile device, click on notification tab and
then Arlo, on clicking on Arlo, you will see Arlo notification setting, where
you need to make sure that allow notification is selected or not. If not
selected, select the allow notification and tap on save.
