1. Click the ‘Share’ button for a few seconds to bring up the share window on display.
2. To take a screenshot: Click and hold the ‘Share’ button for a few seconds. Doing so will immediately capture the screen without stopping the running game. You’ll only see a small camera icon near the upper right side of the screen confirming that the screenshot has been taken.
3. To record a clip: If you want to start recording a video clip, double-click the ‘Share’ button. The screen will start recording, and this will continue until you don’t press the ‘Share’ button again. Whenever you want to end the screen recording, click the ‘Share’ button. This will record the game running or anything that is on the PlayStation’s screen.
How to share the captured screenshots and screen recordings from PS4
All the screenshots you’ve captured and video clips you’ve recorded will be stored in a folder on the hard drive. You need to go there to view all the screenshots and clips and for sharing.
1. Select your Profile from the function screen.
2. Select ‘Captures’ to locate the folder have screenshots & videos.

4. Choose ‘Upload Screenshots’ if you want to share snaps. Or enter into ‘Upload Video Clip’ to share video clips.
5. Select the item you wish to share and go ahead with Upload. A window will open with various options asking you where you want to share.
6. Select where you want to share your recorded videos or screenshots. Your account should be logged in to the service you’re using for sharing.
7. Now, the screenshot or video clip is ready to share, use the comment box to write something for it.
8. And select ‘Share’ button to finish.
Your selected item will be posted on the social site you’ve chosen for it. PlayStation has its own messaging service that you can use for sharing screenshots and videos with your friends.
