Method 1: WPS Connection Method

Step 1: Ensure that your new Canon printer is turned on. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button located at the top of the printer until the indicator flashes once.

Step 2: You need to make sure that the indicator lamp starts to flash blue, then go to the access point and press the WPS button within 2 minutes.

Note: The blue Wi-Fi lamp on the printer will continue flashing while searching, and the power and Wi-Fi lamp will flash when the connection to the access point. When successfully made connection, the power, and Wi-Fi lamp will stop flashing and remain lit.

Method 2: Standard Connection Method

·         Insert CD that comes with your printer and run the setup. If you don’t have, then you can download the setup from the official website of the Canon.

·         Click “Next” on the pop-up screen appears.

·         Select on the button – Connect to the network.

·         Click on the “Cableless Setup” button.

·         Choose the “Next” button until you get select your place of residence. Select your place of residence and proceed.

·         On appearing the license agreement, read and proceed with the “Yes” button.

·         If you could see your model and SSID on the screen, then, proceed with the “Complete” button to finish off the setting up process.
