How to recover forgot Google account

If you are unable to access your Google account and it is inactive from more than thirty days, then a possibility is that Google has deleted it from the server. Steps to recover Google account and Gmail Password

If you are not able to recall the password for the Gmail account, you have plenty of options available to recover your password. You may be asked to enter any password from the past which you remember. If you are lucky enough to guess any correct previous password, enter it and get access to your account again. Then Google will also give you the option to change your password.

If the above method does not work out, Google will ask you to submit a CNAME change request. This is mostly useful for the people who have bought a domain name and a Google add on is being used to create a domain email address. The process could take up to 72 hours. Forgotten username

Try your actual name first, there are more chances that your actual name is your username. Some user names contain age and year of birth also and sometimes it is the date when the account has been created.

You will have the following options to select from:

·         I forgot my username.

·         I know my username and password but I can’t sign in.

·         I can’t reset my password via SMS.

·          I use a Google Apps account.

·         I’m having trouble with two-step verification.

Select the most suitable options from the above. Now Google trouble-shooter will ask you a number of questions for your account recovery.  You may be asked to guess your password on the password recovery screen.

From the above methods discussed, one or the other will surely work for you. Once you get your access back to your account, don’t forget to create a new password. The password should be a combination of letters, numbers and special characters.

In order to make everything work smoothly, just be sure to make a backup copy of everything in your Google account.
