How to Reach Amarnath: By Train, Air & Road

Amarnath yatra is started from the Pahalgam to Baltal and the following is the route map: This shrine is situated at a narrow gorge at the farther end of the Lidder Valley, the height of the Amarnath Holy Cave is at near about 3,888 meters and the total distance is 363 kms. By Air

For the Amarnath Yatra the nearest airport in Srinagar. Srinagar is a place full of natural beauty this place is having so many other sights seen also. They are such as Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal Gardens, and many more. This place is popular by the name "Paradise on earth". The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir is Srinagar. There is a daily flight for Srinagar as well as for Delhi also. On selected days flights are also available from Chandigarh and Amritsar.

By Rail

For the Amarnath Yatra, Jammu is the nearby Railway Station. And the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir is Jammu. The other name of Jammu is "City Of Temples". It is a beautiful city. There are so many other temples to visit they are such as Raghunath Temple, Mahadev Mandir, and many others temples too. This place is well connected to the all stations of India.

By Road

Jammu and Srinagar is a place which is well connected by road. To reach these places pilgrims may take Buses and Taxis also. They both are available on a daily as well as full tour basis also.

Amaranth Yatra is very difficult as the way to this yatra is very steep but throughout the year more than thousands of pilgrims came here for the yatra.
