by Hayate Abul Digital Marketing

If you listen to music regularly, you must be creating playlists to listen to your favorite songs later on. But if you switch to another app for listening to music, it is frustrating to create new playlists. In that case, you can choose to import playlists into Spotify. It is a drawback that you don’t have a native way for importing playlists into Spotify. Different tools will, however, help you import playlists into Spotify. Let’s check them out and the ideal process for importing.

1. Soundiiz

Soundiiz is one of the best web tools for transferring your playlists into Spotify. It features all the major music streaming apps such as Apple Music, Deezer,  Google Play Music, Last.fm, and even YouTube. Also, the apps which are not much popular are supported by Soundiiz as well, including Anghami, JOOX, KKBox, and Telmore Music. Other than this, you can import tracks, albums, and artists also, with the use of this web tool. But these categories must be there on the specific platform that you choose.

You can import playlist by going to playlist, then Import Playlist, and then choosing From File option on the web app. If we talk about its drawback, it is going to be the lack of custom song matching. Its free version allows you to transfer one playlist only at one go, but you can remove the limitation with the premium version.

2. Stamp

Stamp app is readily available on different platforms, including Android, iOS, Linux, Mac, and Windows. If you wish to transfer iTunes playlists into Spotify, then Stamp is an ideal option for you. It is compatible with various streaming services and allows you to import playlists to other streaming services as well. They include Amazon Music, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Tidal, Pandora, YouTube, and more. Even it allows exporting track lists from YouTube and Rdio, but you can’t transfer playlists into them.

It supports CSV playlists, which adds more value to it. Both the free as well as premium versions are available for you to use. Like most, its free version lets you transfer one playlist at a time, and the premium version removes that limit.

3. TuneMyMusic

TuneMyMusic comes as a free-to-use web app with an impressive user interface. It can be used to import playlists from various streaming services into Spotify, including Apple Music, SoundCloud, Tidal, Napster, iTunes, Last.fm, and more. Even, you can sync playlists with different formats such as CSV, TXT, M3U, PLS,  XSPF, and XML, M3U8, and WPL.

Follow this step-by-step instruction:

  • Firstly, hit the Let’s Start option that you see on the screen.
  • Then, choose the ideal source from the list of available options.
  • You can choose to either upload the associated file from your computer or connect the relevant source account.
  • Now, select the songs that you wish to import from the playlist.
  • Click the Select Destination option.
  • Select Spotify and allow TuneMyMusic the asked permissions.
  • Complete the process by clicking on Start Moving My Music.

Once the process completes, you will be able to access the chosen playlists, ideally on Spotify!

4. Playlist Convertor

Playlist Convertor is an ideal Windows app that is destined to let you import playlist into Spotify easily. Though, it is capable of syncing with only four streaming services, which are Deezer, Napster, Spotify, and YouTube. To initiate the conversion, launch the app in your computer and keep following the instructions for connecting to Spotify. Once connected, go to the Import option, then M3U, and then Convert. The free version will show you ad during the conversion process. But you can remove it by paying  a dedicated amount that this app asks.

So, Spotify might not provide an ideal way to import playlists from other services but these tools will work best for you. You don’t need to go through the installation process to access few of the mentioned tool over here. By simply visiting their website, you can complete the transfer process.

One Last Tip

A problem that most of the user face while transferring playlists is the lack of accuracy in the matches, which we discussed earlier as well. The best solution, in this case, is to manually control the process and sync the playlists in small parts. Breaking the playlist in small batches will help you easily transfer the playlist to Spotify!
