How to fix PP2000 got error that USB Device not recognized

PP2000/Lexia-3 Interface works for both Citroen and Peugeot.It compatible with most of for Citroen and for Peugeot cars from 1995. 

This post starts with the problem that PP2000 got error with USB Device not recognized, finally sorted it out.

I’ve been trying to get the pp2000, to work, but the computer is showing that the usb device has not been recognized, this is even after removing and completely reinstalling both pp2000 and lexia.

Finally, PROBLEM FIXED
It had been messing about in the past there, but constant unplugging and plugging back in got it working as long as nothing moved. This old toughbook has 2 usb ports and a memory stick when plugged in works fine.

Got the problem sorted on the xsara it was the wires under the seat forgot I saved a screenshot when it was working but it would still be good to get it going again.
